FDM
Fused deposition modeling

FDM is a filament-based technology in which a temperature-controlled head deposits a layer of thermoplastic material onto a build platform. If necessary, a support structure is created from a water-soluble material.

Technology

With filament 3D printing (FDM/FFF), the starting material is heated through a nozzle and the melted material is applied layer by layer. If necessary, a support structure is created from a water-soluble material. Very high stability is achieved through the production process.
